I've just been to a concert by a group called XYZ!
Ryan invited me to go.. I wasn't really ready but no time to get ready so we just went.
There were a lot of talented people performing, and according to Ryan's description, it sounded really good. I was there with Ryan, Grace, Angela, Eugene and their school friends. I was pretty much left out as they chatted among themselves, (yes, Ryan, this is your fault ._.) about stuff they do regularly. I managed to scrounge up some of their names though. Kimberly, Douglas. That's it. Though I heard the person that invited Ryan and his cousins was a person named Selina.
It is ABSOLUTELY PACKED! There was a countdown before the show began and it was really great to see tons of fellow teen Christians all stuffed in together like that! The performers were filled with talented people. First we had the Junkyard perform their catchy drumming and beating. Second we had cheerleaders group perform, they're called Elite if I still have my memory. (tons' of whistles for that performance, Eugene, Ryan, you know you liked it.)
The next thing for our eyes to see, and yours to read, was DANCE OFF!! The MC's called out 5 contestants from the crowd to perform a 30 second dance of, Michael Jackson - Billy Jean!
(it was thought of as a tribute to the late Michael Jackson.)
The first dude! (Lot's of waves coming from this guy, and body-popping.)
The second dude! (His moves just SCREAMS Michael Jackson.)
The third dude! (A little similar to the second! But not as good.)
The fourth dude! (He touched his.. thing a little too much?)
The fifth dude! (I personally commend this little guy for his bravery, and talent. He's gotta be.. 12?)
For our last event of the night, Project GSUS!
They're a pretty okay band, just can't hear what they're really singing.
Oh, and for the closing, we had this Christian from the church the group XYZ is made from?
His talks were meaningful and he showed how much God loves us, to get up even when you fall down. His gift to us that night were his words, "Fight the good fight, and finish the race."
(those were probably not his exact words, but there's only so much I can remember.)
The event was held at a place called Dream Centre in dont-know-where?I slept in the car because of car sick so I have no idea where we went. xD
